Welcome!

I am Jude Krusemark. This is my personal blog, a place for essays, reflections, and occasional fragments of thought. Here I write on matters both intellectual and personal—faith, music, literature, and whatever else demands attention in a given season. I am unapologetically Lutheran, and I hold a deep love for hymnody and sacred music, especially the works of Bach and Buxtehude.

About the Project

This site is built using Jekyll, an open-source static site generator that converts simple text files—typically written in Markdown—into fully rendered webpages. Each post is written as a standalone file and organized within a structured folder system, which Jekyll then compiles into the final site.

Every entry is displayed with its date, author, and tags, providing context and allowing the reader to trace themes across time.
